Job Title: Press OperatorJob DescriptionThe Press Operator sets up, operates, and maintains press lines in a modern manufacturing environment, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to perform changeovers and basic mechanical repairs on press equipment.Responsibilities

• Operate press lines safely and efficiently to meet production targets and quality standards. • Complete die changeovers accurately and in a timely manner to support production schedules. • Perform basic mechanical repairs and adjustments on presses to minimize downtime. • Monitor press operation and product quality, making necessary adjustments to maintain specifications. • Use tape measures and hand tools to set up, verify, and adjust equipment and components. • Support general labor and assembly tasks related to press operation and production flow. • Follow established manufacturing processes, safety procedures, and quality control guidelines. • Communicate equipment issues or production concerns promptly to the appropriate personnel. • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with workplace standards. Essential Skills

• Proven experience operating machines or press equipment in a manufacturing environment. • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and mechanical experience with industrial equipment. • Hands-on experience in machine operation, including setup and basic troubleshooting. • Manufacturing experience, including familiarity with production processes and workflows. • Ability to use tape measures accurately for measurements and equipment setup. • Proficiency with hand tools for adjustments, minor repairs, and assembly tasks. • Automotive or plastics manufacturing experience. • Quality control experience, including inspecting parts and following quality procedures. • Ability to follow safety procedures and adhere to established operational guidelines. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bardstown, KY. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
