• Assemble metal hatches and panels using drills, wrenches, screwdrivers, torque tools, and tape measures. • Read and interpret blueprints to complete accurate mechanical builds. • Prepare panels for finishing by installing insulation and hanging panels for painting. • Package completed assemblies, verify order accuracy, and prepare products for shipment. • Cross‑train in multiple departments to support production needs and expand your skill set. • Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and ensure high‑quality workmanship. • Follow safety procedures and proper tool usage in a metal manufacturing environment. • Maintain a clean, organized workspace similar to an auto body shop. What Makes You a Great Fit
• At least 6 months of mechanical assembly experience. • Ability to read blueprints and take precise measurements with a tape measure. • Comfortable using hand and power tools (drills, wrenches, torque tools, etc.). • Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly. • Reliable, flexible, and comfortable working across departments. • High school diploma or equivalent. • Experience in automotive, metal fabrication, or similar environments is a plus. • Familiarity with torque tools and basic mechanical tasks (oil changes, repairs). • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new processes. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richfield, MN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
