Construction Laborer We are seeking motivated Construction Laborers to join a growing concrete construction team in Colorado Springs. This role offers steady, year-round work, extensive overtime opportunities, and the chance to build a long-term career in the construction industry. Construction Laborers will work on commercial, civil, and earthwork projects, assisting with all phases of concrete construction while learning valuable trade skills from experienced crews.Location: Colorado Springs, COPay: $20.00 - $23.00 per HourResponsibilities
• Move and stage construction materials, including forms and rebar • Assist with site preparation activities such as digging and grading • Perform site clean-up and maintain a safe work environment • Support concrete crews with daily construction activities • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively • Follow safety policies and project specifications • Learn all aspects of concrete construction and installation Required Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of construction experience • Minimum 1 year of concrete labor experience on civil, earthwork, or commercial construction projects • Ability to perform physically demanding work and heavy lifting throughout the shift • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions • Reliable transportation Preferred Skills
• General labor experience • Concrete construction experience • Experience using power tools and hand tools • Experience working in physically demanding environments Required Tools & PPE Employees must possess or be willing to obtain:
• Steel-toed boots • Rubber boots for concrete work • Tool pouch/work belt • Tape measure • Framing hammer • 12 lb. sledgehammer Schedule
• Monday through Saturday • 60-70 hours per week during peak construction season • Significant overtime available Work Environment This position is based on active construction sites and requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Candidates should be comfortable performing physically demanding tasks, maintaining a high level of attention to detail, and working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Colorado Springs, CO. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
