Machine Operator Job Summary The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and setting up converting equipment used to produce flexible packaging, labels, and printed boxes. This role ensures machinery runs safely and efficiently while maintaining quality standards and minimizing downtime. Key Responsibilities
• Operate converting machinery safely and efficiently. • Set up equipment for production runs, including mounting plates and preparing materials. • Clean, maintain, and inspect mounting equipment and printing plates. • Monitor production quality and make machine adjustments as needed. • Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor mechanical repairs. • Read and apply tape measurements for setup and quality checks. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. • Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE. • Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production goals. Required Qualifications
• 6+ months of machine operation experience. • 1+ year of manufacturing experience. • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. • Ability to accurately read a tape measure. • Experience working with production or assembly equipment. • Attention to detail and commitment to quality. • Ability to work independently and maintain a strong work ethic. Preferred Qualifications

• 3rd Shift: 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM. • Training on 1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM (approximately two weeks). • Manufacturing facility with a close-knit team atmosphere. • Required attire: steel-toe boots, work pants/jeans, and t-shirt. • Safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection provided. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boone, IA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
