Now Hiring Press Operator in York, PA 2nd Shift Monday-Thursday 3pm-1am (Training 5am-3pm) Pay: $19.25-25/hrJob DescriptionThe Press Operator I is responsible for operating stamping presses and performing required secondary operations to complete assigned work orders. This entry-level role ensures parts are produced to quality standards by following established procedures, performing inspections, maintaining supplies, and supporting efficient production flow.Responsibilities
• Operate assigned stamping press and related equipment according to standard operating procedures. • Perform secondary operations as required to complete work orders. • Add designated stamping lubricant to reservoirs and empty waste oil into approved containers as needed. • Perform visual inspections for defects, including slug marks, malformed parts, and damaged components. • Conduct required quality checks such as camber, twist, hard gauge checks, insertion force, and withdrawal force. • Accurately record inspection results on the QIP Inspection Data Sheet. • Complete all required paperwork for assigned equipment, including work order travelers, lot/reel labels, box content forms, and machine maintenance records. • Verify reel/lot counts at completion of each lot and apply proper identification labels. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.25 - $25.25/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
