Job Title: WelderJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Welder with expertise in working with .045 wire on carbon and stainless steel. Responsibilities • Perform welding tasks using .045 wire on carbon and stainless steel. • Read and interpret basic blueprints to ensure accurate assembly of parts. • Utilize a tape measure for precise measurements. • Operate an overhead crane and forklift when necessary. • May operate a break or drill press if welding tasks are completed. Essential Skills • Minimum of 6 months welding experience or an Associate's degree in welding. • Proficiency in MIG welding techniques. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints. • Skill in using a tape measure accurately. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience with crane operation and forklift handling. • Familiarity with operating a break or drill press. The company operates on two shifts: 1st shift from 7am to 3:30pm and 2nd shift from 3:30pm to 11:50pm, with potential for overtime. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
