Job Title: Equipment AssemblerJob DescriptionAs an Equipment Assembler, you will be responsible for safely assembling various equipment by adhering to detailed instructions. This role involves working with a range of mechanical, electrical, and manual tools to create assemblies that vary in size and product specifications. Responsibilities • Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics onto products using power equipment and wrenching techniques. • Install various product accessories such as decals, mud flaps, cameras, and lights. • Utilize hand and pneumatic tools accurately, including wrenches, hammers, and torque guns. • Accurately use common measuring tools such as a tape measure. • Drill and/or tap holes for wires, hoses, and small parts. • Determine required options for units based on schematics, blueprints, and Standard Work Instructions. • Lift and stack completed subassemblies and parts up to 35 lbs and team lift up to 60 lbs. • Train and work in various assembly areas in response to production demands. • Follow verbal and written work instructions. • Pay attention to detail to adhere to quality standards. • Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with safety procedures, rules, and proper 6S standards. • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Essential Skills • At least 1 year of experience in mechanical assembly or working with mechanical products. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience with automotive repair or assembly is a plus. Be prepared to work late and on weekends as needed. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jersey Village, TX. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.65/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
