Candidates should have experience with abrasive blasting, surface preparation, and industrial painting in shipyard, marine, or industrial environments.Responsibilities
• Perform abrasive blasting and surface preparation. • Mix and apply industrial coatings and paints. • Prepare surfaces through sanding, cleaning, masking, and needle gunning. • Apply coatings to tanks, engine rooms, machinery spaces, and vessel exteriors. • Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met. • Follow all OSHA, environmental, and safety requirements. Qualifications
• Experience with abrasive blasting and industrial painting. • Knowledge of surface preparation and coating application. • Ability to work in a shipyard, marine, or industrial environment. • Strong safety awareness and attention to detail. • Shipyard or marine experience preferred. • C7 and/or C14 Blasting Certifications preferred. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Everett, WA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $31.00 - $34.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
