Job Title: WelderJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled TIG welder to work with stainless steel products in the semiconductor industry. This role involves welding components for valves, fittings, equipment hook-ups, manifolds, regulators, and tube press fitting systems. Responsibilities • Adhere to weld schematics and accurately identify weld symbols. • Apply basic math skills and welding principles. • Conduct inspections and ensure high-quality fabrication using blueprints. • Weld stainless steel and sheet metal components with precision. Essential Skills • Proficiency in TIG welding. • Experience in manufacturing environments. • Ability to read blueprints and fabricate components. • Familiarity with stainless steel and sheet metal welding. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience with purge welding. • Experience in stainless pipe welding. Initial training occurs Monday to Friday, from 6:30am to 3:00pm. Transition to a swing shift from Monday to Thursday, 3:00pm to 1:30am, with a 10% shift differential. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of PORTLAND, OR. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $33.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
