Job Title: TesterJob DescriptionThis role focuses on functional testing of electronic ibots to determine whether they pass or fail based on defined criteria. You will perform hands-on checks such as verifying wires, buttons, and wheel movement, and conduct basic troubleshooting when issues arise. Using good computer skills, you will document test results clearly and accurately before handing units off to technicians for further work. Responsibilities • Perform functional testing of ibots to determine pass or fail status according to established procedures. • Inspect and verify that wires, buttons, wheels, and other components operate correctly. • Conduct basic troubleshooting to identify simple issues, such as non-functioning buttons or misaligned components. • Use computer systems to record test results, track units, and update documentation accurately. • Follow standardized testing protocols and assembly checks to ensure consistent product quality. • Handle and test assemblies carefully to prevent damage and maintain product integrity. • Collaborate with technicians by providing clear information about test outcomes and any observed issues. • Maintain a neat and organized work area within a fast-paced electronic manufacturing environment. • Adhere to safety guidelines and quality standards throughout all testing and handling activities. • Demonstrate a proactive, "fix it" mindset by identifying opportunities to improve testing or troubleshooting processes. Essential Skills • Hands-on experience or strong aptitude in functional testing of electronic or mechanical products. • Ability to perform basic troubleshooting on assemblies, such as checking wires, buttons, and moving parts. • Good computer skills for entering test data, tracking units, and following digital work instructions. • Strong attention to detail when inspecting components and documenting test results. • Practical repair and "fix it" attitude, with a willingness to solve problems and learn new tasks. • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, electronic manufacturing environment. • Dependable work habits and ability to follow established procedures and quality standards. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plano, TX. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
