Job Title: OperatorJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Operator to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work on either the 1st shift from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, or the 3rd shift from 8:30 PM to 6:30 AM, Monday night through Friday morning. All new hires will undergo training on the 1st shift during their first week with orientations available every Monday and Wednesday.Responsibilities
• Complete all requirements for the Automatic Press Operator Trainee position and independently run presses. • Prepare presses and work sites for setup, following instructions for setting up and adjusting various press components. • Install and remove dies in the press, ensuring proper operation of automatic presses. • Monitor and maintain press fluid levels, changing lubricants, and disposing of waste oil. • Verify raw material stock and manage steel coils, including loading, removing, and banding. • Utilize intranet, Kanban, and EAM systems to obtain job task information and order materials. • Safely operate hi-los, overhead cranes, and die carts for material handling. • Troubleshoot presses using Smart Pac, CNC computers, and controls to ensure quality and production levels. • Perform coil changes and use Torch and Plasma cutter as needed. • Assist in the training of Automatic Press Operator trainees. • Ensure quality production by using various measurement tools and equipment. • Follow safety procedures and use necessary safety devices and personal protective equipment. • Participate in lean initiatives and continuous improvement activities. • Provide effective communication and feedback to team members and management. • Maintain personal work area and adhere to company policies and procedures. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
