Field Service Technician - $40/hr - 1st Shift Responsibilities
• Develop and improve electrical schematics and blueprints for custom fluid-filling machinery used on automotive final assembly lines. • Assist in creating and updating detailed documentation for machinery that includes mechanical framing, pumps, valves, and electrical panels. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure schematics accurately reflect machine design and meet specific assembly line requirements for each manufacturing facility. • Review and interpret existing wiring diagrams and panel layouts ranging from 24V to 480V to ensure accuracy and clarity. • Support troubleshooting efforts by using schematics and blueprints to trace wiring and identify potential issues within electrical panels. • Incorporate plumbing details, including valves and pumps, into schematics to ensure proper integration with mechanical and electrical systems. • Continuously refine and optimize schematic layouts to improve usability, safety, and maintainability of the machinery. • Ensure all documentation aligns with internal standards and supports the full build-from-the-ground-up process for custom machinery. Essential Skills
• Professional in maintenance, with experience supporting or working with industrial machinery. • Proficiency in reading, developing, and improving electrical schematics and blueprints. • Hands-on understanding of electrical systems and components ranging from 24V to 480V. • Ability to interpret and document wiring within electrical panels, including panel wiring and panel building concepts. • Experience with wiring tracing within panels to support troubleshooting and documentation accuracy. • Knowledge of plumbing systems, including pumps and valves, and their integration into machinery. • Strong troubleshooting mindset, with the ability to use schematics and blueprints to diagnose and resolve issues on paper or in collaboration with technical teams. • Attention to detail and accuracy when creating and revising technical documentation. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moraine, OH. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $37.00 - $37.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
