Job Title: Residential Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionJoin our team as a Residential Maintenance Technician in the heart of Downtown Bellevue, where you will be part of a fourth-generation family-owned company committed to building community and fostering cultural growth. Responsibilities • Perform repair and maintenance duties for residents on a 24/7 basis. • Operate company equipment safely with required training and certification. • Work both individually and in a collaborative team environment. • Make timely decisions with limited guidance and react with urgency when needed. • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English. • Perform appliance service repairs, troubleshooting, and installation. • Handle general maintenance work including electrical, carpentry, plumbing, drywall repairs, and painting. • Respond to trouble calls, customer complaints, and equipment failures. • Complete all service requests daily and maintain a parts inventory. • Collaborate with the engineering team, company employees, vendors, and contractors. • Participate in the Emergency Response Team during emergencies. Essential Skills • 3-5 years of related experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic equipment, construction, and plumbing. • High School Diploma or GED required; some college degree or trade school preferred. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office. • Valid Driver’s License with a clean record for the past 5 years. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience with general plumbing, electrical, and cosmetic repairs. • Ability to troubleshoot and repair appliances such as washers, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers. • Experience with painting, paint prep, and using a spray gun. Work EnvironmentThe work environment involves working on-site in luxury apartment buildings with a moderately loud noise level in some areas. You will be exposed to varying weather conditions and may need to perform physically demanding tasks like lifting up to 100 pounds and climbing stairs. The schedule is typically Tuesday through Saturday, 8am-4:30pm, with on-call responsibilities for emergencies. Personal protective equipment is issued as part of our safety program. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Bellevue, WA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70720.00 - $87360.00/yr.
