Job Title: Production Worker Pay: 22.40$ Location: Surrey ( Close to Campbell Heights)Job DescriptionAs a Production Worker, you will rotate through various tasks and operate up to 20 different machines. You will work in either the plastic or steel area, with responsibilities including deburring steel, moving products, and boxing production. Machines are set up by the Charge Hand, and you will operate them using foot pedals. Tasks are repetitive, often requiring you to repeat actions 20-200 times per order.Responsibilities
• Operate machines to weld, crimp, and cut metal. • Sand edges of metal tubes using a belt sander. • Move parts from the welding station to prepare for shipment. • Assist welders and move parts around the floor. • Use power tools to clean machined parts. • Count products accurately. • Pull and stack small plastic pieces for assembly and shipment. Essential Skills
• 1+ years of experience in a production/manufacturing environment (metal/plastic/woodworking). • Proficiency in using hand and power tools. • Ability to maintain accurate counts of parts for shipment. • Self-motivation and initiative in repetitive tasks. • Capability to lift up to 45 lbs. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with understanding of processes and safety. • Experience in construction, woodworking, or plastics industry. • Forklift experience or certification.
