About this role

Job Title: AssemblerJob DescriptionThis role focuses on electro-mechanical assembly of subassemblies, product enhancements, and prototypes in a production line or bay-build environment. You will work with large electrical chassis, following blueprints and schematics with a strong emphasis on quality, accuracy, and attention to detail. You will collaborate in a small team, move between lines as needed, and follow work orders to build units using hand and power tools. Responsibilities • Perform electro-mechanical assembly of subassemblies, product enhancements, and prototypes in a production line or bay-build environment. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to assemble units correctly and efficiently. • Use basic hand and power tools to build and assemble large electrical chassis and related components. • Maintain a strong focus on quality, ensuring all assemblies meet established standards and specifications. • Move between different assembly lines or bays as needed, adapting to changing priorities and tasks. • Collaborate closely with team members in a small team environment to meet production goals and deadlines. • Participate in the training process by partnering with a senior assembler to shadow and build units together. • Identify and report any issues with parts, tools, or documentation that could impact product quality or safety. • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working with tools, equipment, and electrical components. • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by suggesting ways to enhance assembly processes and product quality. Essential Skills • At least 1 year of electro-mechanical assembly experience. • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to work with mechanical and electrical components. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. • Knowledge of basic hand and power tools and their safe use. • Strong work tenure, demonstrating reliability and consistency in previous roles. • High attention to quality and detail throughout the assembly process. • Ability to work effectively in a small team environment and move between different assembly lines as needed. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Previous experience performing electro-mechanical assembly based on work orders. • Experience assembling large electrical chassis or similar industrial equipment. • Comfort working with both mechanical and electrical assembly tasks. • Ability to learn quickly by shadowing senior assemblers and applying training to independent work. • Strong problem-solving skills when interpreting documentation and resolving assembly issues. You will regularly use basic hand and power tools and work with electro-mechanical components, following safety procedures and quality standards throughout the day. The facility is scheduled to close in March 2027, providing a defined timeframe for work in this location. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, OR. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
