Substitute Nurse JOB DESCRIPTION LINK As a Substitute Nurse with Special School District (SSD), you will support students by providing essential nursing care that allows them to attend school safely and as independently as possible. Under the supervision of Health Services leadership or a supervising nurse, you will carry out physician-ordered treatments, assist with medical equipment, administer medication, and contribute to the implementation of individualized health care plans. You may also assist with educational support tasks as long as medical needs remain the priority.
