About the RoleWe are seeking a Product Operations Specialist with an architecture background to join our Product team. This unique role combines quality assurance, user research, and operational excellence to ensure our Material Hub platform delivers exceptional value to architects and design professionals. You'll be the guardian of product quality and the voice of user experience, working at the intersection of Product, Data, Engineering, and Customer Experience teams.

The Work You'll DoAs a Product Operations Specialist at Acelab, you'll ensure product quality and drive user-centered improvements:
Quality Assurance & Testing
Conduct comprehensive manual testing of new features post-releaseValidate that product functionality aligns with architectural workflows and user expectationsIdentify edge cases and usability issues that could impact architect productivityEnsure product updates maintain the integrity of material specification processesBug Management & Process Ownership
Own and optimize the bug ticketing and tracking process across teamsTrack and document data quality issues and errors for the Data teamPrioritize issues based on user impact and business objectivesCoordinate with Engineering, Product, and Data teams on bug resolution and verificationCreate and maintain documentation for known issues and workaroundsDrive continuous improvement in our quality processesUser Experience Research
Assist with user research to understand material selection pain pointsAssist with synthesizing feedback on new features and workflowsPartner with Product Managers to translate insights into actionable improvementsSupport usability testing sessions and user interviewsDocument user journeys and workflow inefficienciesCross-functional Collaboration
Serve as liaison between Product, Engineering, Data, and Customer Experience teamsCommunicate technical and data quality issues in terms architects and stakeholders understandSupport Customer Experience with complex product inquiriesCollaborate with Data team to ensure material information accuracyContribute to product roadmap discussions with user-centered insightsRequirements
Architecture and Design Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field2-5 years of professional experience in architecture firms (preferably commercial)Hands-on experience with design software (Revit, AutoCAD, BIM platforms, etc.)Deep understanding of architectural project workflows from concept to construction documentationExperience with material research, specification, and coordination with manufacturer representativesKnowledge of how architects evaluate and select building productsTechnical and Analytical Skills
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detailAbility to systematically document and reproduce technical issuesComfort learning new software tools and platforms quicklyBasic understanding of web applications and software development cyclesExperience with or willingness to learn bug tracking tools (ClickUp)Communication Skills
Excellent written communication for clear bug reports and documentationAbility to translate between technical and non-technical stakeholdersStrong presentation skills for sharing research findingsDiplomatic approach to cross-team collaborationSoft Skills and Team Collaboration
