Key responsibilities:
* *Demonstrate a high-level of accuracy & urgency in the Warehouse* * Prepare and move finished products ? palletizing, shrink-wrapping, boxing, labelling * *Operate a Forklift & pallet jacks* * Maintain a clean and organized work space * *Follow Warehouse Policies & Procedures* * Follow Warehouse Health and Safety guidelines * *A variety of tasks will be required throughout the shift ? including receiving, shipping, packing, cleaning, sorting*
Receiving:
* *physically unload boxes from shipping containers, palletize them and shrink wrap to a high-standard* * drive fork lifts and can help you get your license * *match and record the paperwork to the contents inside of container to ensure accuracy*
Shipping:
* *Pick orders accurately and efficiently* * Package finished product for shipping (wrap pallets, labelling, repack) * *Efficiently prepare outbound shipments in order to minimize truck dock time.* * Complete daily records as and when required. * *Coordinate with logistics team for BOL & other paperwork*
Qualifications:
* *Must be in good physical condition* * High School or equivalent experience and exceptional ability * *Able to repetitively lift and move heavy boxes (up to 50lbs)* * Warehouse experience in high-volume, food-service, distribution or logistics or equivalent experience is an asset * *Forklift and pallet jack experience is an asset* * Ability to work independently with minimum supervision * *Great work ethic, high initiative, self-motivation and positive attitude* * Ability to multi-task, time management skills, detail-oriented * *Effective problem solving skills*
