About this role
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Maintain, troubleshoot and administer the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks and computer workstations and peripheral equipment. Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks. Provide problem-solving services to network users. Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance. Supervision: No supervision responsibility. Student status: Full time enrollment. Part time enrollment. Computer and technology knowledge: MAC. Servers. Security software. Mapping and data visualization software. Data analysis software. Security and safety: Basic security clearance.
