Job summary
Tri-Links Medical Practice are a high achieving practice seeking an enthusiastic and committed new member to join our Clinical team for 2 sessions per week. This is a fixed term contract to run until the end of March initially.
To work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the GMS contract and adhering to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to the effective management of the practice, maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team. We require an organised and pro-active GP to join our busy team.
Main duties of the job
Provision of medical services to our practice population whilst complying with the GMS contractEffective Management of long term conditions.Being duty Dr - triaging online requests will be part of this roleProviding clinical advice and support to other clinical staff and respond to queries from the administrative teamsProcessing of administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescription requests and other associated administrative tasksParticipate in clinical audits within the practice.Maintain accurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy and guidanceCarrying out home visits when requiredThe post holder will be expected to undertake all duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within a primary care team
About us
Tri-Links current patient list size is approximately 7100, we have 2 sites in Tamworth. We are a well-established training practice and we support GP registrars and Foundation Doctors from the Burton VTS and medical students from Warwick University.
We have 1 GP Partner, 4 salaried GP's, 2 ACP's, 2 Clinical Pharmacists, 2 Practice nurses and a supportive Management and Admin team. We have access social prescriber via our PCN network.

Treating patients and prescribing appropriate medication. Referring patients or providing advice, as appropriate. To work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the GMS contract.
