Space Planning Analyst II

Position Description: Collects, verifies, and analyzes detailed facilities information for use in space planning projects. Manages relocation projects and is responsible for implementing space planning projects that have been approved through the Space Allocation Committee or campus leadership.

Major/Essential Functions: • Quality control Facilities Inventory, GIS Mapping systems, internal enterprise data systems, TTU Internal Space Model Reports, space performance metrics, and other key indicators. • Define, analyze, and report on analytics and resources for a variety of projects for quality control. • Collect, analyze, interpret, evaluate, and input data for facilities inventory to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards. Ability to apply numerical and analytical skills necessary for the analysis and evaluation of data in real time. • Ability to think critically (out of the box) and be able to pay complete attention to details. Ability to make independent judgements and decisions based on established guidelines and job experience. • Communicate with other departments to prepare for existing site surveys, new construction surveys and space use surveys to verify coding, measurements, and physical building information.

Preferred Qualifications: • Experience using GIS/GPS Software, and web-based facilities inventory system. Computer literate - MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SQL Database, SQL Reporting Services. • Previous experience in implementation of AutoCAD software and GIS systems.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in related field. Three years related experience; OR a combination of related education and/or experience to equal seven years.

Pay Statement: Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan.
