Assembles machine parts at close tolerance form blueprint instructions. Ensures that all parts are available for subassembly by checking parts in boxes against bill of materials. Works with engineering department to determine that blueprints or spec sheets are correct. Gathers hardware including nuts, bolts and screws for assembly. Drills or saws parts when necessary. Assists in moving machinery using a chain hoist, electric lift truck or hand dolly truck. You’ll love it here if you:

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities: What you'll need to have:

Previous mechanical experience such as production mechanic, auto mechanic-, machine shop experience or hands-on machine shop classes. Must have ability to use precision measuring tools such as micrometer, vernier, calipers, etc. High School Diploma or G.E.D. Must be able to read and write in English. Must have good communications skills. Must pass company administered mechanical test. Experience with all types of hand tools, drill press, lathe, mill, floor standing saw and powered lift truck. Ability to perform all types of welding: MIG, TIG, ARC, Spot, Braise; specializing in stainless steel.
