If you have the required skill set, education requirements, and experience, please click the submit button and follow the next steps.Summary All Native Group, a division of Ho Chunk Incorporated, is seeking Regional National Missing and Unidentified Persons System Administrators to support the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) with management of the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs) program. This program furthers the Department's mission by responding to the need to assist state and local law enforcement, medical examiners and coroners, allied professionals, and the general public with resolving missing (MP), unidentified (UP), and unclaimed person cases (UCP).

Candidates will be part of a team that manages the day-to-day operations of NamUs; supports ongoing NamUs programs and initiatives; continues national outreach efforts; provides and manages free forensic services (DNA, dental, fingerprint, Forensic Genetic Genealogy (FGG), and anthropology); provides technical assistance to state and local users and evaluates the impact of NamUs to aid medicolegal and other investigative efforts.

Essential Functions

Case intake, data quality analysis, and direct support to agencies entering or managing missing and unidentified persons cases in NamUs, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with program standards across their assigned region. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities: Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in law enforcement, forensic science, or death investigation is preferred.

Physical Demands

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time. Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. Expresses or exchanges ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly or quickly. Frequently moves standard office equipment up to 25 pounds. Must be able to work indoor conditions 90% of the time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position supporting a client in the National Capital Region, but with national coverage. Core work hours will be consistent but may be adjusted for time zone coverage.

Education

Bachelor’s degree required. Preference for criminal justice focus or forensic science focus.
