Team Lead, Intercompany Accounting Reporting To: Senior Team Lead, Intercompany Location: Cebu, Philippines Position Summary The Intercompany Accounting Team Lead is responsible for delivering timely and quality service to internal Dover customers, as measured by service level agreements and key performance indicators. Key activities include the following Core Responsibilities Manages overall compliance with intercompany month-end closing requirements for assigned team and closing tasks (Review and Approval of JEs) Assists team members to ensure compliance with month-end closing requirements (troubleshoot issues and concerns) Sets clear daily and monthly performance expectations regarding quality, speed, and ownership. Identify control gaps, process weaknesses, and recurring issues; drive remediation through root cause analysis Drives timely identification and remediation of aged intercompany balances and variances. Escalate appropriately when alignment cannot be achieved and ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner Maintains high-quality process documentation, identify control gaps, and execute root-cause remediation. Manage, coach, and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth. Evaluates and assesses assigned team’s performance (Individual Performance Scorecard, Performance Metrics) Leads continuous improvement projects for intercompany team Collaborate with stakeholders to drive process adherence, resolve operational disputes, and eliminate non-standard local accounting practices. Provides audit support, both internal and external Conducts and reviews capacity utilization Monitors and approves team’s timekeeping and attendance scheduling Balances workload to maximize team performance and productivity Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Management Accounting Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is an advantage Over 5 Years minimum experience in a Finance and Accounting shared service or BPO entities with at least 2 years supervisory experience Strong experience in intercompany accounting, financial close, and consolidation processes Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS Strong understanding of SOX and internal control frameworks Demonstrated ability to: exercise sound technical judgment resolve complex accounting issues drive accountability and performance Experience leading process improvement or transformation initiatives with measurable outcomes Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience in global, multi-entity intercompany environments Lean / Six Sigma or continuous improvement experience Experience with large ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, etc.) Experience driving process standardization across business units Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral presentation skills Ability to meet deadlines and produce accurate results High level of customer focus and ability to maintain a positive attitude at all times Ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times with customer and coworkers; fully observe Dover’s Code of Ethical Conduct, Employee Handbook “Personal Conduct of Employees” policies and ISO Quality System Standards COMPANY OVERVIEW Dover Business Services (DBS) is an independent business-to-business service provider within Dover Corporation, a diversified global manufacturer and solutions provider based in Illinois, U.S.A. with annual revenue of over US$8 billion.
