Job description: About the Project Client is implementing a modern Member Hub built on Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft Azure to centralize member information from multiple enterprise systems. The platform will support member profiles, eligibility management, reporting, analytics, care management, and operational workflows through secure cloud-native technologies and enterprise integrations. The implementation includes application development, system integration, cloud modernization, testing, deployment, and production support using Agile delivery methodologies.
Software Engineer Position Summary The Software Developer designs, develops, tests, and supports enterprise applications, APIs, and system integrations that enable Client Member Hub platform and digital transformation initiatives. This role develops scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions while collaborating closely with Architects, Technical Leads, Business Analysts, Data Engineers, QA Engineers, and DevOps Engineers throughout the implementation lifecycle. The engineer will be responsible for building application services that ingest data from payer systems and healthcare platforms, process and cleanse incoming information, support matching and survivorship workflows, and expose trusted member profiles through MemberHub. The Software Developer participates in solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support, ensuring software solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, business requirements, and operational objectives. Key Responsibilities • Build MemberHub integrations for Payer Portals, Waystar, Eligibility feeds • Develop APIs, integrations, and backend services • Data processing, validation rules, cleansing logic, survivorship logic • Application development by building Web Portal, Member Profile screens, queue management screens • API Development by building Member APIs, Provider APIs, Integration APIs • Implement eligibility workflows • Build operational workspaces • Participate in Agile development processes. • Conduct unit testing and peer code reviews. • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues. • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and testers. • Maintain technical documentation. • Support CI/CD and DevOps practices. • Develop cloud-native applications and services supporting the Member Hub platform. • Build and maintain enterprise integrations using REST APIs and modern integration patterns. • Develop reusable application components following enterprise architecture and coding standards. • Participate in solution design sessions, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and technical estimation. • Collaborate with Data Engineers to support data integration and reporting requirements. • Support deployment, release validation, Hypercare, and production issue resolution. • Contribute to continuous improvement of development standards, automation, and engineering best practices. • Ensure software solutions meet security, performance, scalability, and maintainability requirements. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline. • 3–8 years of enterprise software development experience. • Experience developing enterprise applications using modern object-oriented programming languages. • Experience developing REST APIs and enterprise integrations. • Experience working in Agile software delivery environments. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications • Expert level SQL, must understand stored procedures, views, functions, data modeling • Mandatory familiarity with C# , .NET core, Azure Functions • Mandatory TypeScript, React, Web UI Development • Knowledge of API management, security, authentication, versioning • Strong familiarity with Logic Apps, Service Bus • Healthcare Integration Experience • Nice to have Python • Experience using Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines. • Experience developing applications supporting healthcare payer, provider, population health, or member engagement platforms preferred. • Experience working with SQL and relational databases. • Familiarity with cloud-native application architecture and microservices preferred.
