Senior Developer – Pega
Job description: Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and implement applications using the Pega Platform. • Build case types, workflows, user interfaces, decision rules, and business rules. • Develop integrations with REST, SOAP, databases, messaging systems, and external applications. • Configure data pages, data transforms, activities, report definitions, and decision tables. • Create reusable components following Pega Guardrails and best practices. • Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and production issues. • Participate in requirements analysis, technical design, code reviews, and testing. • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders. • Optimize application performance and ensure scalability. • Prepare technical documentation and support deployment activities. • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • 4+ years of hands-on Pega development experience. • Strong experience with Pega Infinity (8.x or later). • Expertise in: • Case Management • Flows and Flow Actions • Sections and Harnesses • Data Pages • Activities • Data Transforms • Report Definitions • Decision Tables and Decision Trees • Correspondence • Integrations (REST/SOAP)
• Experience with SQL and relational databases. • Knowledge of Java concepts and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). • Familiarity with version control tools such as Git. • Experience working in Agile environments.
