Salary: £52,000 - 62,400 per year
Requirements: Previous experience as a Project Expeditor, Supplier Expeditor or in a similar role.Strong supplier expediting and procurement experience.Previous EPC or EPCM project experience, or experience on engineering projects.Experience with mechanical, piping, valves, or instrumentation would be beneficial.Strong communication skills with the ability to manage and challenge suppliers effectively. Responsibilities: Expedite supplier orders and monitor agreed delivery dates.Track vendor documentation and manufacturing progress.Liaise with suppliers to ensure commitments are maintained.Identify and escalate delays and delivery risks.Provide weekly expediting updates and progress reports.Work closely with procurement, engineering, and the wider team to support delivery. We are offering an Outside IR35 project expediting contract at £30 per hour for an initial 3-month term, with hybrid working available. This is an exciting opportunity to support a major upgrade project within a high-hazard manufacturing environment, working closely with suppliers, procurement, engineering, and the wider team. You will play a key role in driving supplier progress, keeping orders and engineering packages on schedule, and ensuring timely delivery through regular updates and proactive risk management.
