Serving Tustin, Santa Ana and other surrounding communities, Foothill Regional Medical Center is a fully accredited acute care hospital, licensed for 177 beds—120 beds for general acute care, 15 intensive care beds and 42 pediatric sub-acute beds. Use the nursing process and practice standards to guide patient care management. Assess patient conditions, identify early signs of complications, and respond effectively. Delegate responsibilities appropriately to licensed and unlicensed personnel. Apply knowledge of the clinical information system to accurate patient documentation. Prioritize holistic care that addresses patients’ physical and emotional needs. Carry out the nursing process, coordinate interdisciplinary care planning, and document according to standards while validating the patient’s and caregiver’s understanding of the care plan and expected outcomes.
