Ed Tech A Behavior Intervention Education Technician (often hired as a Ed Tech II or III) in Maine supports students with emotional, social, or behavioral challenges. They implement behavior plans, track data, and help students access academic instruction in mainstream or behavioral day-treatment settings. Key Responsibilities
• Implement individual behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies under supervisor direction.
• Collect, record, and monitor daily behavioral and academic data.
• Support classroom management and de-escalate crisis situations using approved safety protocols.
• Reinforce academic lessons and adapt materials for students with special needs.
• Communicate student progress and behavioral concerns to teachers, administrators, or treatment teams.
