Teacher Job Description The STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) Teacher is responsible for designing and delivering engaging, interdisciplinary lessons that foster creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. The teacher creates hands-on learning experiences that integrate science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics concepts while promoting innovation and student-centered learning. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement STEAM-based curriculum aligned with educational standards and learning objectives.

• Plan and facilitate project-based, inquiry-driven, and experiential learning activities.

• Teach concepts in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics through integrated lessons.

• Encourage creativity, innovation, and critical thinking through hands-on projects and challenges.

• Utilize educational technology, coding platforms, robotics kits, and digital tools to enhance instruction.

• Assess student progress and provide timely feedback on academic and project-based work.

• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of students.

• Maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating classroom environment.

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular learning opportunities.

• Manage classroom materials, equipment, and technology resources.

• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.

• Participate in professional development opportunities and stay current with STEAM education trends and best practices.

• Organize and support STEAM-related events, competitions, exhibitions, and community partnerships.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Arts Education, or a related field.

• Valid teaching certification/license as required by state or local regulations.

• Knowledge of project-based learning and inquiry-based instructional methods.

• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

• Proficiency with educational technology and digital learning tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education or a STEAM-related field.

• Experience with coding, robotics, makerspaces, 3D printing, or engineering design.

• Familiarity with coding platforms such as Scratch, Python, or robotics programming tools.

• Experience leading STEAM clubs, competitions, or extracurricular programs.
