Main Responsibilities: As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include: Provide care for presenting patient from initial history taking clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care. You must demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnosis skills for patients within the general practice. You will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of the patients, supporting delivery of policy and procedures and providing nurse leadership as required.
Main duties of the job As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Clinical Practitioner at Operose Health, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional primary care, enhancing patient access, outcomes, and experience. Located at The Practice Northumberland Avenue, Southend-on-Sea, this permanent role offers a salary up to £60,000 based on experience, for 37.5 hours per week. Critical responsibilities include patient history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and care evaluation. You must exhibit safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, collaborating with the general practice team to support patient needs and ensure the effective implementation of policies and procedures. Leadership in nursing will be expected to enhance the delivery of services. The role demands experience in primary care, registration as an NMC nurse, and advanced clinical practice capabilities. A minor injury and illness qualification is essential, and a Level 7 (MSc) Practitioner is preferred, with consideration given to those with or pursuing similar qualifications. Experience in a Primary Care setting. NMC registered nurse with advance clinical practice tor working towards non-medical prescriber. Minor injury and illness qualification essential and the ability to maintain and monitor standards of care It is preferred that the ideal candidates is a level 7 (MSc) Practitioner, although candidates with accreditation or a MSc course to ACP status may also be considered. Qualifications Essential
Experience in a Primary Care setting, NMC registered nurse with advance clinical practice or working towards non-medical prescriber, Minor injury and illness qualification essential, Able to maintain and monitor standards of care, Preferred Level 7 (MSc) Practitioner or candidates with accreditation or a MSc course to ACP status.
