Main duties of the job The position of Healthcare Assistant at Lucas Avenue Practice with Operose Health requires you to assist patients and support the healthcare team, including the Clinical and Nurse Lead. Main Responsibilities: As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include:
Assisting with patient duties as required and support other team members such as clinical and Nurse Lead with patient care. Supporting the Practice with duties related to CQC outcomes and ensuring compliance is maintained. You will be working with patients with long term conditions such as Diabetes etc. So must have experience in Phlebotomy. Provide clinical procedures such as new patient health checks, BMI, blood pressure, pulse and simple wound care. Completing administrative tasks such as new patient registrations, providing appropriate leaflets, stock control and ordering.Ideal Candidate: What we look for in new colleagues:
Experience in a Primary Care setting and phlebotomy. Able to work within processes, procedures and maintain confidently and data security. Must be able to adapt with changing priorities and be personable, polite and patient with our patients. Must have basic PC skills such as Word, Excel and email. Qualifications Essential
Experience in a Primary Care setting and phlebotomy, experience with basic PC skills such as Word, Excel, and email, ability to work within processes and maintain data security, and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
