Little Compton School Department is looking to add to its daily, on-call substitute roster for Teachers and Teaching Assistants. Applicants must pass a national background check. Duties May Include: Implement teacher lesson plans and administrator directives with fidelity and efficiency. Ensure the physical and emotional safety of all students. Supervise student activities such as lunch, recess, and arrival/dismissal. Perform administrative services for the classroom teacher/Principal or designee. Assist in Main Office as directed by Principal or designee. Maintain confidentiality regarding students and staff personnel information Be a positive role model for students. Ability to be flexible with job assignments as needed. Assume responsibility for other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned. Bachelor's degree preferred, however substitute Teacher Assistants must meet the general qualifications of teacher assistant as provided in § 16-11.2-2. Must abide by state statutes, Little Compton School Committee Policies and school procedures.
