About this role

The Little Compton School Department is seeking part-time help (1-2 days per week, starting in October and ending in May) with math intervention. This is a grant-funded position with a one-year assignment. Duties include: Perform duties and responsibilities allowable and allocable within the Title I program provisions. Assist with the identification process for students who need additional math instruction, including screening as necessary. Provide individual and small group instruction for identified students. Confer with Principal about the needs of the math instructional program. Act as a resource to regular classroom teachers in the areas of best practices. Support teachers with implementation of standards. Assist with the parent involvement program for the Title I program. Other responsibilities related to Title I implementation and delivery as requested by Principal.

Background check Expertise in the area of best practices for mathematics. At least 7 years of relevant experience preferred. Masters degree preferred. Citizenship, residence, or work Visa in the United States preferred.
