Job Description Summary

At the heart of Retail Finance, the Consumer Relationships (CR) division plays a critical role in driving the performance and strategic direction of Lloyds Banking Group's Personal Current Account (PCA), Savings and UK Private Banking businesses.

As a Finance Manager within the CR Performance & Planning team, you will play a key role in shaping financial insight, delivering robust financial forecasting and performance reporting, and helping senior stakeholders make informed decisions. You'll combine financial, commercial , and customer insight to understand the drivers of business performance and translate complex information into clear, actionable recommendations.

You'll be joining a high-profile team responsible for understanding and shaping the financial performance of one of Retail Banking's largest customer franchises. Working across PCA, Savings, and UK Private Banking you'll gain broad exposure to senior stakeholders, be involved in strategic decision-making and, and reporting key financial drivers across Consumer Relationships.

ADDITIONAL LOCATIONS: Bristol Harbourside, Cardiff, Halifax and Leeds

HOURS: Full-time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

What you'll be doing:

Take ownership of Consumer Relationships reporting, delivering high-impact insight that helps shape decisions across Personal Current Accounts, Savings and UK Private Banking - some of the UK's largest and most strategically important banking businesses.Play a leading role in key planning cycles, including Quarterly Forecasts and the Four-Year Operating Plan, transforming complex financial data into compelling narratives that influence senior decision-making.Partner with senior colleagues across Finance and the business, helping to develop and implement strategies that drive growth, strengthen customer relationships and improve financial performance.Provide meaningful challenge and insight, identifying the key drivers of performance and bringing together product, customer and market perspectives to support better business outcomes.Work across a diverse network of teams, collaborating with Finance Business Partners, Treasury, Data and Business leaders to ensure alignment on strategic priorities and deliver shared objectives.Drive innovation and continuous improvement, seeing opportunities to simplify processes, enhance reporting and leverage technology to unlock greater value from data.Be part of a high-performing and supportive team culture , where collaboration, learning and development are actively encouraged and celebrated.Help shape the future of Finance , championing automation, modern reporting capabilities and new ways of working that improve efficiency and decision-making across the organisation. What we're looking for:

Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).3 or more years demonstrating strong financial reporting, planning and forecasting experience, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.3 or more years proven excellent communication and storytelling skills, with confidence presenting analysis, recommendations and performance updates to senior colleagues and leadership forums.Proven ability to influence and challenge constructively, building credibility and strong relationships across Finance and the wider business.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a proactive approach to identifying risks, opportunities and improvements.Strong ability in managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.A continuous improvement attitude, with an interest in automation, innovation and enhancing reporting capabilities. And any experience of these would be really useful:

Experience within Retail Banking or Financial Services.Knowledge of Deposit products, hedging or balance sheet dynamics.Experience with Power BI, Power Query or other visualisation tools.Experience delivering finance change and automation initiatives.Familiarity with cloud-based reporting and modern data technologies.
