Job SummaryYou will serve as a Special Security Representative (SSR) in the Maritime Information Warfare Directorate of MARITIME OPERATIONS CENTER.
QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing and managing organizational risk, information protection, and personnel security clearance programs. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Identifying security issues, interpreting regulatory guidelines, and collaborating with personnel at all levels to implement policies and procedures that protect secure facilities and critical intelligence. Major DutiesYou will manage SCI Personnel Security eligibility and conduct investigations for SCI security clearances and access to sensitive positions.You will oversee adjudications, risk-based clearance decisions, and access control.You will have delegated authority to approve, deny, suspend, or revoke SCI clearances according to policy and regulations.You will collect and analyze data on the command's security needs, recommend equipment, propose operational changes, and support initiatives to achieve physical security objectives.You will enforce strict SCI access controls and establish secure collaborations with individuals both within the agency and internationally.
