Job SummaryYou will serve as a LEAD IT SPECIALIST (ENTARCH/APPSW) in the WAR GAMING AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT (N6) of EXPED WARFARE TRNG GRP PACIFIC.

QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing the development of wargaming, simulation and implementation of training events for joint military operations for optimal information technology systems. Examples of Qualifying Experience; Experience planning, coordinating, and executing unit-level training or wargaming events in collaboration with internal staff and external agencies. Ability to develop and modify training scenarios utilizing simulation software or combat modeling concepts. Baseline familiarity with Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) training methodologies and how they support training objectives. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. Major DutiesYou will serve as a lead technical integrator and exercise developer directly supporting Wargaming, Modeling and Simulation and Information Technology Director.You will participate in International, DoW, Joint, and naval planning committees, working groups and seminars to discuss Live, Virtual and Constructive (LVC) initiatives and integration efforts and propose solutions for improved interoperability.You will lead exercise planning teams and personnel to obtain effective, and efficient systems integration in order to conduct exercise scenarios directly supporting operations.You will formulate and implement long term strategies supporting LVC development and implementation.You will be responsible for coordinating and providing infrastructure and capabilities for five separate Fleet Concentration Areas.You will lead teams of five to ten personnel for various functions to include daily operations and facility setup in support of training events.You will develop plan of action and milestones for assigned exercise and clearly communicate expectations of each team member.
