QualificationsYour resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or NH-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing or evaluating physical or electronic security programs; planning or recommending the installation of multi-layered security systems, such as access control devices, alarm systems; or conducting security assessments and vulnerability testing to ensure compliance and recommend corrective actions. Major DutiesYou will inspect, analyze, and evaluate electronic security systems, performing appropriate tests to ensure they provide adequate protection.You will collaborate with team members and security specialists to design systems that maximize protection while minimizing impact on the daily mission.You will coordinate with security system contractors on installation, maintenance, and testing to identify and resolve performance issues.You will apply advanced security policy knowledge to serve as a technical expert, developing creative solutions for complex security problems.You will coordinate, conduct, and document security vulnerability assessments on electronic systems and unmanned vehicles.You will support the design, setup, and certification of new security systems to ensure they integrate with existing layouts and meet all safety standards.
