Job SummaryYou will serve as a SHIFT TEST SUPERVISOR in the NUCLEAR ENGINEERING AND PLANNING DEPARTMENT (CODE 2300) of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.

QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional ENGINEER leading the planning and execution of nuclear testing operating procedures by overseeing nuclear work controls and providing strategic resolutions to support the safe and efficient operations of a naval nuclear test program. Major DutiesYou will work directly for the Chief Test Engineer who is responsible for the nuclear reactor test program preparation including test sequences, test specifications, operations procedures, test procedures and test equipment services.You will assure the safety of the reactor plant at all times during the assigned shift.You will determine the appropriateness of plant responses to systems operations by evaluating the parameters and determining the likely cause and recommending the advisability of continuing the test sequence.You will act as an authority in resolving problems of a critical and technically complex nature.You will supervise formal detailed briefings for the shipyard and Ship's Force personnel involved in a reactor test oepration.
