QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in developing and/or recommending changes in funding and budget plans that may require revisions to substantive programs. Experience in formulation of budget and estimates to support plans, programs and activities, including presenting and defending budget estimates before authorities. Experience in developing, and interpreting budgetary policies and practices, resolving critical problems, and developing new theories concerning budget, Experience in leading, supervising, motivating and counseling employees. Experience in analyzing and recommending costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization's programs and administrative operations. Experience in executing the theory, principles, concepts and practices of accounting, budget management and Navy financial programs. Major DutiesYou will utilize your in-depth knowledge of the theory, principles, concepts and practices accounting, budget management and Navy Financial programs.You will utilize your extensive knowledge of sources, types and methods of funding for organization and programs, and budgetary differences between the assigned budget and the budgets and programs or other agency components.You will provide accounting, budget, and other related financial management work.You will perform or advise on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration.You will provide formulation of budget and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities, including presenting and defending budget estimates before authorities.You will review and evaluate budget requests, control, and reporting of obligations and expenditures.You will develop, determine, and interpret of budgetary policies and practices.You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization’s programs and administrative operations.You will resolve critical problems, and develop new theories concerning budget, accounting, and financial management programs.
