QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience providing engineering technical planning, estimating, specification preparation, ship inspections, quality assurance (QA) and administration of voyage and emergent ship repair contracts.. Major DutiesYou will provide industrial, engineering, technical and repair contracting services for voyage repairs, emergent repairs and maintenance of naval ships and craft.You will execute contracted voyage and emergent maintenance/repairs and provide contractor oversight and Quality Assurance (QA) of contracted repairs.You will responsible for supervising engineering planning, estimating, specifications preparation, ship inspection, contract QA, and the administration of ship repair contracts.You will make work and travel assignments, determine if on-site repair Marine Surveyor oversight is required, and provide repair execution status for repairs in progress.
