Job SummaryYou will serve as a SUPPORT SERVICES SPECIALIST in code N31C of NMCPAC EAD Unit Pearl Harbor. A post allowance amount, (otherwise known as: COLA), of 8.9% will be added to the stated salary. Post allowance is subject to change at any time. QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: building maintenance and facilities management, including prioritizing and submitting work requests for operations, maintenance, and contract work, experience in government property management and accountability, including the use of systems like the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS), and the ability to track status of multiple projects and provide regular updates to management. Major DutiesYou will prioritize and submit work requests and classify priority using NAVFAC guidance.You will initiate calls to NAVFAC trouble/service desk for urgent/emergency services and provide information on location, problem and type of repairs required, and point-of-contacts.You will ensure facilities and equipment are professionally maintained at a level that meets mission requirements.You will identify possible energy conservation measures and promote utilization of the Energy Conservation Savings Program and Energy Conservation Programs.You will manage, administer, and implement the property control and accountability program to ensure government property is accounted for.
