Job SummaryYou will serve as the Nuclear Production Department Training Assistant in the Operations Department, Nuclear Production Managers Office of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing and managing others in naval reactor plant overhaul operations, shipyard nuclear production training programs, and quality and radiological control requirements. Major DutiesYou will manage all aspects of the nuclear production training program.You will represent the Nuclear Production Manager in contact with Shipyard technical codes to establish policies and revise processes related to nuclear training.You will develop, recommend, and implement new strategies and procedures for the nuclear production training program.You will address nuclear training concerns in collaboration with production training administration, shop superintendents, and technical codes.You will review deficiency reports and take corrective action when deficiencies are caused by inadequate training or could be prevented through training.You will approve lesson plans developed by technical codes and production shops.
