- PO - VO - MBO - HBO - WO&O - PA - PO - VO - MBO - HBO - WO&O - PA Communications Officer Curriculum Implementation (Freelance Assignment) Utrecht 30 to 35 hours per month (640 hours in total, extension possible) As a Communications Officer, you are responsible for coordinating and supporting communication regarding the implementation of curriculum development from the AOb. Explanation of the curriculum implementation project Core objectives, reference frameworks, and attainment targets collectively form the curriculum and, consequently, the substantive basis of the Dutch education system. The existing set was due for updating. SLO (Foundation for Curriculum Development) carried out this assignment through a phased process of development, testing, and assessment. This has resulted in a first set of definitive draft core objectives, which are currently being incorporated into legislation and regulations. The introduction of new core objectives requires clarity regarding the implications for educational practice and school organization. Teachers need up-to-date information about the content of the revised curriculum, the scope they have to make choices within it, and how teaching methods and learning pathways relate to it. Increasing curriculum awareness is essential: it supports teachers in making professional judgments and contributes to managing workload. What are you going to do?
