CNA - Days, Evenings, Premium Pay Contract
Job Description: The Highlands at Brighton, an affiliate of UR Medicine, provides more specialty care services than any other transitional or long-term care facility in our region. Units: Rehab, Memory Care, Ventilator, Neurobehavioral, Long-Term Care Status: Part Time, Full Time, or Contract Contracts (Full time hours): Weekdays (and Every Other Weekend) OR Weekends Only Shift: Days, Evenings (*Day shift not available for Weekday Contract) Rate: $18.50/hr.-$28/hr.
Responsibilities: •Assist in promoting quality of life for our residents. •Assist residents with all ADL’s. •Take vital signs and weights and reports to RN/LPN team leader. •Ambulate, lift and transfer residents as per individual care plans. •Assist with feeding residents, tray distribution and recording of intakes per policy. •Interact and foster a positive relationship with staff, residents, and families consistently projecting a positive, caring, courteous and responsive environment. •Observe and report resident needs, abnormal conditions and/or behavioral changes.
Job Requirements: • High school diploma or GED/HSE preferred • Current NYS Nurse Aide Certification in good standing • Minimum of one year experience as a CNA required for contract positions
