Over de functie As a Manufacturing Engineer (Product & Planning), you will be a crucial member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT), ensuring smooth operational deliveries. You will be responsible for analyzing production characteristics, managing Level 1 (L1) non-conformities, defining temporary production instructions, and preparing dispositions for Level 2 (L2) non-conformities. Your goal? Advancing to a Non-Conformity (NC) approver role while continuously improving production processes. Your responsibilities - Develop technical solutions to complex problems, ensuring compliance with GKN Aerospace Health, Safety, and Environmental policies. - Provide technical support for manufacturing development and integration for production. - Resolve issues related to vendor schedules and quality. - Utilize root cause analysis, preventative and corrective actions to reduce non-conformities. - Oversee the implementation of tooling and production planning using Zero Defect Manufacturing (ZDM) methodologies. - Manage product development, first article development, conf...
