You will support our employees, business and HR colleagues. THE POSITION As an HR Services Officer, you play a key role in delivering reliable, accurate and people-focused HR services throughout the entire employee lifecycle. You are the first point of contact for HR-related questions from employees, managers and the wider HR organization, providing support in line with established HR policies, procedures and guidelines. You handle both routine and more complex HR enquiries and transactions. You independently manage standard HR processes, seek support where required for sensitive or complex cases, and provide clear, practical advice by translating HR policies and procedures into day-to-day practice. By understanding the context behind each request, you ensure timely, high-quality and customer-focused HR support. Compliance is a key part of your role. You ensure that HR processes comply with applicable employment legislation and Van Oord's policies and procedures. You are responsible for maintaining accurate employee records in Workday and managing related personnel files. In addition, you actively identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to the continuous optimization of HR processes, templates and ways of working.
