Apply directly About the feature The Netherlands-Flemish Bible Society (NBG) is at the beginning of a new growth phase. As the leading Bible publisher of the Netherlands and Flanders, we aim to make even greater impact with publications that bring the Bible to life for a new generation. Several projects are already in the pipeline, but there is plenty of room for new concepts and ideas. As a children's book editor, you develop and oversee publications for a wide range of ages and target audiences. Additionally, you are responsible for editing Bijbel Basics, our successful method for Sunday school. You work closely with fellow editors, subject matter experts, designers, authors, and illustrators. Together, you create publications that help children and teenagers discover, understand, and apply the Bible in their lives. Our youth fund includes beloved titles such as the Picture Bible, the Look-and-See Bible, the Shared Reading Bible, and various Bibles for young people. In the coming years, we aim to expand this fund, including with new classics. You will guide authors in the development of new children's books and work on Dutch editions of international titles. You will also contribute to shaping the fund's direction. In doing so, you will have the opportunity to further develop your acquisition skills: identifying promising themes, trends, and authors who align with the NBG's mission.
