You will review stability, weight, hydrostatics, performance and regulatory deliverables while working with an international, English-speaking project team. Relocation support is available in case you are moving to the Netherlands. Where You'll Work You will work at a Dutch shipyard specialising in fully custom-built superyachts between approximately 70 and 160 metres. Depending on the project, your workplace will be the yacht construction facility in Kaag or the modern shipyard in Amsterdam, where both newbuild and refit projects are completed. Reporting to the Lead Engineer, you will manage the naval architecture scope for one or more projects. Detailed calculations and analyses are generally prepared by external specialists. Your responsibility is to review and challenge these deliverables, coordinate the relevant technical interfaces, and maintain consistency across the complete naval architecture scope. What You'll Do - Take technical ownership of the naval architecture scope within your assigned superyacht project or projects. - Review and challenge deliverables covering stability, weight management, hydrostatics, vessel performance and watertight integrity. - Verify technical documentation related to structural fire protection, load line, tonnage and other regulatory requirements. - Ensure that naval architecture deliverables comply with project requirements, classification rules and flag regulations. - Translate regulatory requirements into practical engineering solutions that c...
