You work with various types of glass and ensure that windows and frames are safe, neat, and properly finished. Your daily tasks consist of: • Measuring frames and cutting or ordering glass to size. • Installing and replacing various types of glass, such as insulating glass (HR++ or double glazing). • Repairing broken or damaged panes, for example after storm damage or a burglary. • Finishing windows with sealant, glazing beads, and rubber profiles to ensure they are wind and watertight. • Advising customers on different types of glass, such as safety glass, solar control glass, or sound-insulating glass.
